  • During my third graphic design class that took place in the later part of 2016 I was given an assignment to create a magazine. The results were mixed. While some elements were strong other elements were lacking. Some of the better elements that came from working on the magazine were the variety of alternative logos I had created of the magazine’s title “Rivet”. Although I ultimately choose a logo similar to the one in the middle, each of the logos had a distinct character to them that could potential work if utilized in the correct environment. Determined to revise these logos, I made some minor changes to them in the later part of 2017 and was excited to put them into my portfolio as a means of showing how different artistic choices can completely alter the character of a logo despite incorporating the same title.
