Although the coloration and appearance of this design had been updated as of 2018, an initial solid black and white design was created in late 2014 for one of my first graphic design courses in college. The goal for this design was to have the text (shoreline) and the image (the sea turtle) be arranged in such a way that the logo would appear balanced.
